Today we visited a very large museum. it is the biggest open museum in Holland, and it is very nice.
They brought houses from all over Holland and from different times, and it shows how people lived and worked. 
There are also some windmills and a cheese factory that works.
VERY RECOMMENDED !
After spending all day at the museum we headed to our hotel (10 km north to Amsterdam) -
http://www.hoteldeschaapskooi.nl/, Where we stayed for a week. it is a very small hotel ( 4 rooms) and located in a wonderful village (Broek in waterland).
The week we came was a special week - celebration all over the place. The village had a festival with a flea market and an amusement park .
Emen and Volendam (2 towns very close) celebrated 650 years also, so we came at the right time !

where we eat 3 times and it was great...as you can see....
