Noa's Visit

Noa Vashkover came to visit us :) with her mother (don't worry). After a long and sleepless flight, followed by a long and sleepless train ride, they both arrived safely to our cabin in the woods.

The following morning Mamula and Noa meet for the first time - and it was love at first sight. The couldn't leave each others' side (mainly because we didn't move them for some time ...).

They had a lot of catche-up to do, since they haven't seen each other ever ...

The schedule was full and it was mainly packed with sleeping, eating and shopping. But we had other things we needed to do as well.

Halloween is an important part of our lives. We prepare for it for weeks and get very excited to get (so many) candies... and eating them is even more exciting :).

The second big event we had was Tshompa's 7th birthday where Noa had a very important role - keep the guests entertained, which she did extraordinarily.

See you soon Noa ...

Sweet and Happy New Year

From all of us to all of you,

May we all have a great year
Filled with joy and fun
Love and happiness

May we all get all we wish for
All we want
And not what we don't

May we live in peace
With ourselves
And our neighbors

May we grow every day
In every aspect
And never lay low

May we sing and dance
Jog and hop
And fly (but not too high)

May we all have
A very very good year
Sweet and fabulous

End of Summer

Well... when we said that summer is not over yet we did not mean that ....

All we wanted is to spend a few days away before the school starts again.

We thought that it will be more interesting to go somewhere and not stay home - so we headed south to Pennsylvania to see the Crayola factory

On the way we stopped at a small water park - Land of make believe, where we participated in a play.

We wanted to stay for two nights and came back home - but Irene had a different plan.
When we saw that our house is going to be in the eye of the storm :)

we decided to head west for a few more nights.

We stopped at the Hershey's factory to see how they make Chocolate (and test some milkshakes).

We ended up staying in State College, the town where the main campus of Pennsylvania State University (Penn State).

We came back home to find that Irene came and went, leaving us in the dark and without running water for 5 days...

Summer Time

Summer is (almost) over and it was quite a summer...
Mamula entered our lives on a sunny Wednesday morning and has been sleeping ever since... : )

Yontic had a great time in summer camp, making sundaes, pizzas, and visiting the Arauit, (his class year).

Meanwhile Tshompa was very busy learning some new and very important skills, and (naturally) mastering them all.

We started with learning how to rid without training wheels ...

And moved on to swimming

We also went peach picking

And to a Jazz concert at the greens (with our favorite Dim Sum's from York st Noodle House)

The best news are - that summer is not over yet ... just wait and see ...
